Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Reception Specialist to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. This role is essential in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors at our care facility. Excelcare Holdings is a family-run organization with over 34 years of experience in providing exceptional care to the elderly, including those with various needs such as dementia and physical disabilities.   • Competitive pay of £12.00 per hour
  • A full-time commitment of 45 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks)
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a friendly and professional welcome.
  • Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
  • Handle incoming calls, ensuring messages are communicated promptly or calls are directed to the appropriate staff member.
  • Oversee the management of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager and Administrator to ensure necessary supplies are available.
  • Document and report daily and weekly updates as instructed by the Home Manager.
  • Promote the care home and assist with tours and recruitment efforts for new team members.

  • Proficient in IT applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a customer service or reception environment
