Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Receptionist to join our Excelcare Holdings team. Our mission is to ensure that outstanding care remains at the heart of our operations. By becoming part of our team, you will be welcomed into a family-oriented atmosphere, and in recognition of your hard work, you can anticipate:

  • Competitive pay of £12.00 per hour
  • A full-time schedule of 45 hours per week (excluding unpaid breaks)
  • Workdays from Monday to Friday, with hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all visitors, ensuring a warm and friendly greeting.
  • Manage visitor sign-in and sign-out procedures.
  • Handle incoming phone calls, ensuring timely message delivery or proper call transfers.
  • Oversee the management of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager and Administrator to keep necessary supplies stocked.
  • Record and report daily and weekly updates as directed by the Home Manager.
  • Promote the care home and assist with recruitment efforts for new team members.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proficient in IT applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a customer service or reception role
