About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and friendly Receptionist to join our team at Excelcare Holdings. As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a vital role in providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth experience for our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the reception area, ensuring it is always tidy and well-maintained
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and messages
  • Answer phone calls, take messages, and transfer calls to the relevant staff member
  • Assist with daily and weekly reporting, as advised by the Home Manager
  • Support the Home Manager and Administrator with administrative tasks, including ordering stationery and supplies
  • Promote the home and conduct show arounds for potential residents and their families
  • Assist with recruitment efforts, as needed
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or reception role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
