Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Hexagon Care Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at our children's home in Sowerby Bridge, Halifax. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our care.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support and care to young people in our care, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our experienced and skilled team to create a positive and relaxed home environment.
  • Participate in activities and games, take young people out to appointments and meetings, and manage challenging behaviors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.

Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a residential home for children is advantageous, although not essential.
  • Ability to work shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins.
