About the Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to a Service User with a complex spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Service User with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with clinical needs, such as bowel management and physical care.
  • Participate in a 4-weekly rota, working flexible shifts, including days and nights.
  • Drive a mobility van to transport the Service User.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in care.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to handle clinical care in the community.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to undertake training.
