About the Role

Sugarman Health and Wellbeing is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to provide high-quality care and support to a Service User with a C2 spinal cord injury, tracheostomy, and ventilator dependency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Service User with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with bowel management and care, as well as physical activities such as gardening and walking.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to the Service User.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure the Service User's clinical needs are met.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year's experience in care.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle clinical care in the community.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to undertake training.
