HR Administrative Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated HR Administrative Specialist to join our dynamic team at Gleeson Recruitment Group. If you have a genuine interest in fostering a positive workplace culture, this position may be the perfect fit for you.
As an HR Administrative Specialist, you will be instrumental in assisting the People & Culture Manager and supporting various functions across the organization. Your role will encompass a variety of administrative responsibilities, collaboration with management for effective recruitment and onboarding, and maintaining accurate employee data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for all recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and contract preparation.
- Oversee the onboarding process in partnership with line managers, ensuring all necessary equipment and uniforms are prepared, orientation activities are organized, and probation reviews are conducted.
- Manage administrative functions, including offboarding procedures and the upkeep of employee data systems.
- Assist in updating HR policies in collaboration with the People & Culture Manager.
- Contribute to employee engagement initiatives, organize events, celebrate milestones, and support other corporate activities.
- Facilitate internal communication efforts to enhance workplace culture.
- Coordinate the procurement and distribution of uniforms and branded materials.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR administrative capacity, particularly in onboarding.
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and relevant legal standards.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to identify and implement process enhancements.
