Job SummaryPolaris Inc. is currently seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to our dealer network, ensuring seamless customer service, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to our dealer network, addressing breakdowns, technical issues, and service bulletins related to our off-road vehicles and motorcycles.
- Parts, Garments, and Accessories (PG&A) Coordination: Streamline the ordering process for PG&A, ensuring efficient customer service and minimizing delays.
- Technical Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for our dealer network, enhancing their technical expertise and product knowledge.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain open communication with our dealer network, providing regular updates on PG&A availability, and preparing reports on business performance.
- Problem-Solving and Analysis: Analyze data on common part failures, collaborate with service managers, product managers, and engineers to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Event Participation: Represent Polaris Inc. at industry events, trade fairs, and dealer meetings, fostering strong relationships with our partners and stakeholders.
- Education: Minimum HND or Degree-level education in an automotive or mechanical field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in vehicle electrics and diagnostics, with a strong understanding of off-road vehicles and motorcycles.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and administrative skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English is mandatory, with basic knowledge of German being beneficial but not required.
This role is based in an office environment, with occasional travel required within the UK and Ireland territory, as well as to Europe (approximately 20% of the time).
