Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Full-Time Female Support Workers to contribute to an independent living initiative. This role requires adaptability across weekdays, weekends, evenings, and sleep-in shifts.

Candidate Requirements: Due to the specific needs of the individuals we support, this position is open exclusively to female applicants who possess a valid driving license.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Engage in outdoor activities, music, gardening, baking, and occasional outings to recreational venues.
  • Collaborate closely with the individuals and their families to ensure meaningful engagement in activities that matter to them.
  • Facilitate and maintain connections with family and friends while encouraging the formation of new relationships.
  • Promote healthy living and well-being, ensuring access to community resources and specialized health services, including assistance with medical appointments.
  • Provide personal care support, which may range from prompting to physical assistance in areas such as bathing, grooming, and managing specific health needs.
  • Actively listen to the individuals we support, respecting their views and preferences.
  • Assume managerial responsibilities as needed, including organizing schedules and maintaining staff records.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and administration of support plans, keeping them comprehensive and current.
