About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Recovery Support Worker to join our team at Beach House. The service provides high support housing to individuals with enduring mental health backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide recovery-focused support to service users in accordance with their support plans.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in daily record keeping and incident report writing.
  • Run group activities and engage service users in meaningful experiences.
  • Support the induction of new staff members and uphold the cleanliness of the service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the mental health sector is desirable but not essential.
  • A genuine desire to support individuals in their recovery and a can-do attitude.
  • Compassionate, proactive, and professional individuals who are highly motivated and hardworking.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds.
