Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning of product ranges, negotiate supplier pricing, and establish recommended retail prices (RRP) to ensure a transparent pricing structure.
  • Analyze historical sales data, identify best-selling items, and collaborate with the design team to prepare product buys for each style.
  • Assist in developing sizing curves and ratios when placing orders with suppliers.
  • Generate purchase orders in collaboration with your Merchandising Assistant, ensuring accuracy in cost prices, delivery timelines, sizing, RRP, and freight details.
  • Oversee the delivery schedule and communicate any potential delays to the head of merchandising.
  • Proactively mitigate the risk of delays by closely coordinating with your Merchandising Assistant and managing the critical path.
  • Review daily sales data to ensure optimal stock levels for top-selling items and enhance sales by expediting deliveries of similar products or placing direct repeats with suppliers.
  • Engage in all aspects of planning, future store allocations, and stock consolidation alongside the head of merchandising.
  • Create merchandising performance tools and reports to assist the team in trading activities.
