Job Overview

Berry Bros. & Rudd, a renowned wine and spirit merchant, is seeking a skilled Spirits Advisor to join their team. As a key member of the Spirits Shop Team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the effective day-to-day operations of the shop.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a prestigious company that has been a leading provider of fine wines and spirits for over 300 years. As a Spirits Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert knowledge and enthusiasm for spirits to customers
  • Supporting the Spirit Shop Team in delivering excellent customer service
  • Ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of the shop

Who You Will Work With

You will be part of a dynamic team that includes Operations, Customer Services, Buying, Marketing, and Account Managers. You will also have the opportunity to work with external partners, including suppliers and producers.

What You Will Do

As a Spirits Advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers in selecting the perfect spirits for their needs
  • Providing information on spirits products, including tasting notes and pairing suggestions
  • Supporting the Spirits Shop Team in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent knowledge of spirits and their characteristics
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
