Imagine being compensated for five days of work while only committing to four

At Outcomes First Group, we prioritize the wellbeing of our staff, continually seeking innovative methods to enhance work/life balance. We are currently participating in a trial of the 4-Day Working Week, which could allow you to enjoy one less workday each week (or its equivalent).

If the trial proves successful, we plan to implement the 4DWW across our organization – making this an exciting opportunity to join #teamOFG.

As an Educational Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering the development of students at our specialized institution.

  • Annual salary of £20,516.18
  • Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Permanent position, Term Time only
  • Open to UK applicants only; this role does not provide sponsorship.

Our institution serves students with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Many of our students also have additional special educational needs. We are associated with several residential facilities.

This role is situated within a commutable distance from various surrounding areas.

The Role

Embark on a fulfilling career in education and make a genuine difference in the lives of students. Join a dedicated team that strives to create supportive and enriching environments where vulnerable students can exceed their expectations.

As an Educational Support Specialist, you will engage directly with the remarkable students we serve, ensuring they receive the highest quality of education. Each student possesses immense potential, and they will depend on your guidance throughout their learning journeys.

Your responsibilities will include preparing educational materials and facilitating classroom activities, providing hands-on support and supervision. You will also attend to their emotional and physical needs, helping them grow as individuals and engage with their surroundings.

Working with students who have complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs is both challenging and rewarding. You will benefit from the extensive support provided by our experienced teams. As you assist our students in achieving meaningful progress, you will experience the satisfaction of making a direct, positive impact on their lives.

Who We Seek

We are looking for adaptable individuals who are ready to take on various roles within the classroom, both indoors and outdoors, based on the needs of our students. A responsive and compassionate approach is essential, as you may lead classroom activities, facilitate outdoor experiences, or supervise students during excursions.

Our organization thrives on teamwork and mutual support. If you enjoy collaborating with a dedicated team, sharing knowledge and experiences, we encourage you to submit your application.

  • Desirable qualifications include Maths and English GCSEs, along with prior experience in an educational setting.
