Your Responsibilities as a Special Needs Educator:

  • Customized Learning: Adapt your instructional methods to cater to the distinct needs of students facing challenges such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) issues, Dyslexia, and others.
  • Motivate and Support: Foster a nurturing and stimulating educational atmosphere, enabling your students to excel both academically and emotionally.

Qualifications for Teaching:

  • Proven experience teaching up to GCSE level (English or Maths preferred but not mandatory)
  • Ability to be flexible, creative, and adaptable in a dynamic school setting
  • Capability to design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of our students
  • Dedication to ongoing professional growth and keeping up with the latest educational research
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to building positive relationships with colleagues and students
  • Proficient IT skills and the ability to lead others effectively

To collaborate with GSL Education as a Special Needs Educator, you should:

  • Possess the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an updated CV with two relevant references from the past two years.
  • Hold a DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
