Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs, including social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with small groups of pupils under the guidance of a teacher to support their learning and development.
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and communication skills to help them reach their full potential.
  • Safeguarding will be your top priority, ensuring the welfare and safety of the pupils at all times.
  • Work with Key Stage 3 and 4 aged pupils who require additional support.

Requirements:

  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
  • Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
