About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Fir Tree Lodge, a residential care facility for individuals with learning and physical disabilities, sight loss, complex health conditions, including epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to participate in a wide range of activities and engage in their interests.
  • Ensure good working practice, including understanding and awareness of health and safety protocols.
  • Promote independence and develop skills, assisting with daily tasks necessary to ensure positive life experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies, parents, carers, and services to ensure person-centered care.
  • Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans, and function as a Key Worker when required.
  • Support individuals to maintain a clean-living environment, meeting their individual needs.
  • Participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to the needs of the individuals supported.
Requirements
  • Calming and patient approach, with experience of supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • UK Driving License (if living outside the Tadley area).
  • Right to Work in the UK.
