We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Fir Tree Lodge. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning and physical disabilities, sight loss, and complex health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to individuals with complex needs, enabling them to participate in a wide range of activities.
- Ensure good working practice, including understanding and awareness of health and safety.
- Promote independence and develop skills, assisting with daily tasks and activities.
- Work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and services to ensure person-centred care.
- Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans.
- Support individuals to maintain a clean-living environment, meeting their individual needs.
- Participate in regular and ongoing training, relevant to the needs of the individuals supported.
- Hold a UK Driving License (if living outside the Tadley area).
- Be able to work on a shift rota basis, covering mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Have a calm, caring, and resilient approach, with experience of supporting individuals with complex needs.
- Live in the local area and have the Right to Work in the UK.
