About the Role:

We have exciting opportunities at The Crescent Day Service, which caters to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

At The Crescent, we provide Postural Management and a variety of engaging activities, collaborating closely with our caregivers, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to assist participants in engaging in meaningful activities that lead to positive outcomes.

Ideal candidates will be compassionate, possess effective communication skills, and be motivated to ensure high-quality care and support.

You will be expected to serve as a co-keyworker for a small group of service users.

Proficiency in literacy, numeracy, and IT skills is essential for fulfilling your responsibilities.

You will assist with personal care needs while promoting individuals' independence, choice, dignity, health, and overall well-being.

Previous experience in a day service or social care environment is preferred, or a solid understanding of how to achieve the best outcomes for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities, including dementia.

With a proactive attitude, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth and promotion of the Day Services.

You will work collaboratively as part of a team, advocating for Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). Confidence in both teamwork and independent work is essential.

Regular supervision and ongoing training and development opportunities will be provided to enhance your career in Adult Social Care.
