Expert Advisor for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery

The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Expert Advisory Group (PRASEAG) as an Expert Advisor.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical and scientific expertise to the PRASEAG, helping the MHRA to better understand the risks, benefits, and complications associated with medical devices used in Plastic Surgery.
Key Requirements- Be an active member of the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners (JCCP) Council
- Have a strong background in Plastic Surgery and medical devices
- Be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a proven track record of working effectively in a team environment
- Be able to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Practice
- Be committed to the values of selflessness, integrity, objectivity, accountability, professionalism, impartiality, and consistency
- Recognition as a leader in the field of Plastic Surgery
- Ability to network and collaborate with other professionals
The Expert Advisor will play a critical role in shaping the MHRA's regulatory approach to medical devices used in Plastic Surgery. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of evidence-based comments and advice, and to work effectively with other members of the PRASEAG.
