About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Anchor. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents, ensuring their nutritional needs are met and their dining experience is enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a quality catering service in line with health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
  • Minimise wastage when preparing meals and use equipment correctly.
  • Escalate concerns and issues.
Requirements
  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health and safety procedures, including control of substances harmful to health (COSHH).
  • Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience of working with older people.
