We are excited to announce a position within our Early Years, Education & Social Care division for an Administrative Coordinator.

As an Administrative Coordinator in the Education and Social Care sector, your main duty will be to ensure smooth and effective administrative processes while providing vital support to various areas within the division. This role plays a crucial part in the overall efficiency of the department, aligning with the organisational objectives.

You will collaborate closely with teams throughout the Education and Social Care division to manage administrative responsibilities, enhance operational workflows, and deliver thorough support. Additionally, you will oversee student attendance and engage with students and their guardians as necessary.

This is a full-time position requiring 37 hours of work each week.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the Education and Social Care division, including monitoring student attendance.
  • Address all incoming inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Communicate effectively with students and their guardians.
  • Organise and maintain documents, records, and relevant databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of information for various administrative functions.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities.
  • Record procurement items for approval.
  • Act as a liaison between college departments for all administrative functions.
  • Ensure adherence to all processes and procedures.
  • Communicate accurately with all external stakeholders and provide necessary information.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, including academic staff, to ensure they have precise and detailed information for any Education and Social Care activities.
  • Maintain confidential data and perform tasks related to the effective management and storage of both paper and electronic documentation.
  • Conduct data entry, prepare reports, and execute administrative tasks with high accuracy.
  • Perform all administrative duties related to meetings as required.
  • Work independently, prioritise your workload, and make decisions regarding established practices, referring only non-routine issues to other teams.
