About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our Therapies Team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in respiratory physiotherapy and be able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy services to patients across a range of specialties, including respiratory, critical care, and surgical wards.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of physiotherapy policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and students.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous development of the physiotherapy service.

Person Specification
  • Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Minimum of 18 months graduate experience as a physiotherapist
  • Experience gained within an acute setting
  • Experience relevant to speciality area
