About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our Respiratory Team at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of physiotherapists in the respiratory department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of physiotherapists in the respiratory department, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical guidelines and protocols to improve patient outcomes.
  • Conduct audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
  • Provide education and training to staff on respiratory care and management.

Requirements

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 18 months graduate experience as a physiotherapist.
  • Experience of supporting and supervising staff.
  • Experience in an acute setting, preferably in respiratory care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
