About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our team in the Respiratory Department at University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physiotherapy services to patients with respiratory conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background in respiratory physiotherapy, with experience in working in acute settings. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert physiotherapy services to patients with respiratory conditions, including critical care, surgical wards, and emergency therapy teams.
  • Lead and manage a team of physiotherapists, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement physiotherapy programs to improve patient outcomes and reduce length of stay.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes and improve patient experience.
Requirements
  • Registered Physiotherapist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Minimum of 18 months graduate experience as a physiotherapist in an acute setting.
  • Experience in working with respiratory patients, including critical care and emergency therapy teams.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
