Job Overview

As a key member of the TotalEnergies team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success. We are seeking an experienced Commercial Quantitative Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of becoming a leading international player in renewable energies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for non-commodity charges across gas and power
  • Monitor and analyze regulation changes affecting industry costs and their impacts on our business
  • Collaborate with the pricing team to ensure accurate and timely updates to pricing systems
  • Prepare and submit quarterly TNUoS forecasts to National Grid
  • Analyze demand trends and economic information to inform forward views and business decisions
  • Identify and communicate risks to the Commercial team and contribute to the development of the Commercial Strategy
  • Monitor inflation and assess its impact on internal models
Requirements and Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial acumen and a background in finance is advantageous
  • Ability to present and interact with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to extract key drivers from models and build forward views
  • Ability to extrapolate assumptions based on analysis of historic data and market insights
  • Confidence to query data and industry organizations when necessary
