Job Description

Job Title: Residential Support Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Residential Support Officer. As a key member of our Residential Life team, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our students, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, including evening and weekend duties
  • Work closely with the Residential Life Manager and other teams to ensure the smooth operation of the Residential Village
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote student safety and well-being
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to provide support and resources to students
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
