Working Hours: 173 hours monthly, inclusive of additional sleep-in responsibilities.

Our mission is to foster a secure and supportive atmosphere that enhances the growth and well-being of each child entrusted to our care.
Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Residential Support Specialist, you will be instrumental in aiding the Registered Manager to provide outstanding childcare within a safe and nurturing environment. Your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing and mentoring staff members to ensure the highest standards of care.
- Managing daily operations and guiding team members to meet the needs of our young residents.
- Engaging in the provision of therapeutic care and maintaining comprehensive records for each child.
- Participating in the on-call rota, offering guidance and support as required.
- Actively contributing to the care team schedule, which includes domestic responsibilities, and accompanying children to educational settings, activities, and appointments.
- Adhering to the Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and the Children's Homes Quality Standards.
- Engaging in regular supervision, performance evaluations, and ongoing training for personal and professional growth.
- Upholding safeguarding protocols and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Demonstrating proven experience in a residential childcare environment, holding a Level 3 or 4 qualification in Working with Children and Young People.
- Exhibiting a strong understanding of EBD and therapeutic care methodologies.
- Showing a commitment to continuous professional development and compliance with statutory regulations.
