Main Responsibilities:- Expenditure Management: Ensure all business expenditure is approved and matched to purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Cash and Card Reconciliation: Reconcile all cash and card receipts promptly to maintain financial accuracy.
- Accounting Procedures: Adhere to consistent, precise, and timely accounting procedures for the group, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including key suppliers and partners.
- Annual Auditing: Support and assist with the annual external auditing and statutory accounts process, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks facing the group and provide recommendations on how to prevent, monitor, detect, and resolve them.
- Cashbook Management: Ensure all cards within cashbooks are accurate and up-to-date.
- Cash Queries: Resolve internal and external cash queries promptly and efficiently.
- Invoicing and Payments: Ensure all invoices are posted to the correct site and/or statutory company, and manage payments according to BACS and/or Priority Payment.
- Year-End Audit: Assist with the year-end audit and preparation of the company's statutory accounts.
- Ad-Hoc Tasks: Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team.
