Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead our team of invoicing and credit control staff within the Commercial Directorate. The Trust is committed to exploring and building commercial opportunities that will generate additional financial and non-financial value to support the delivery of NHS services and build on our key strengths in patient care, research, and education.

Main Duties of the Job

The post holder will provide financial management leadership to the private patient, overseas, international and injury cost recovery services financial teams with some limited support for the Commercial Directorate as a whole. The post holder will lead the effective budgeting, financial management and reporting, including the management of the financial systems in use to effectively manage this group of services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial management of private patient, overseas, international and injury cost recovery services
  • Develop and implement effective budgeting and financial management strategies
  • Manage financial systems and processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the Commercial Directorate
