Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Consultant to join our Oxford Personal Tax team. This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid working and flexible working options.
- Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver consultancy services to clients across all areas of personal tax.
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensure compliance with HM Revenue & Customs and in-house deadlines.
- Assist with client queries and provide ad hoc advice where requested.
- Billing personal portfolio clients after work completion.
- Deal with correspondence, telephone calls, and arrange and attend meetings with clients and potential clients.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports in relation to income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Deal with HMRC correspondence, telephone calls, and enquiries.
- General support to the tax team as required.
