About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Clinical Support Services team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Deputy and Divisional Head of Finance in providing a comprehensive finance business partnering role to the directorates within the division.
  • Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to senior managers and directors on business cases, financial decisions, and risk management.
  • Build strong relationships with clinical directors and teams to support their strategic aims and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Divisional Finance team to ensure the finance function makes an influential contribution to the Division's managerial and business objectives.
Requirements
  • CCAB finalist or a minimum of two years' experience working in financial management, ideally in an NHS context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships of trust with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, using a variety of media.
  • Experience of working in a financial management position, ideally within the NHS, with knowledge of NHS financial management procedures and processes.
  • Ability to design and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
