About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Business Partner to join our team at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering within the Department of Engineering Science. As a key member of our professional services team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, efficient, and effective service across all aspects of financial administration, financial analysis, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to the Institute's leadership team
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions
  • Ensure compliance with the University's Financial Regulations and policies
  • Collaborate with colleagues in Research Administration and HR teams to provide accurate budgets and forecasts
  • Develop and implement robust financial procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management, analysis, and reporting. You should have a degree-level education or equivalent experience, with a full or part CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent experience in a finance role. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
