Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join the finance team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting the Clinical Support Services Division in achieving its financial objectives.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and guidance to the directorates within the division, including business case development, budget setting, and financial reporting. You will also be expected to work closely with the Deputy and Divisional Head of Finance to ensure that monthly budget monitoring reports are robust and accurate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing financial analysis and advice to support business decision-making
  • Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and business cases
  • Working closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CCAB finalist or a minimum of two years' experience working in financial management, ideally in an NHS context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of NHS financial management procedures and processes
