Your key responsibilities will include:

* Acting as the first point of contact for customers
* Taking responsibility for resolving customer enquiries in a professional, efficient, and sensitive manner
* Recording and maintaining customer contact information accurately and in line with available technology
* Accessing and retrieving information from internal databases, back-end systems, and the internet as appropriate, to resolve customer enquiries

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Experience in a similar Customer Service Advisor role delivering a "one-stop" service
* Confident and adaptable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Able to act with diplomacy and tact at all levels and be discreet with confidential information
* Able to deal with challenging situations while remaining calm and professional
* Solution-focused, able to resolve queries and deliver positive outcomes for customers
* Experience in using ICT systems to retrieve information
* Ability to enter information quickly and accurately
* Experience of Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledge and understanding of latest guidance regarding data protection and freedom of information
* GCSE level: English and Maths grade A - C or equivalent
