What You'll Be Doing

As an Engagement Manager in Government & Public Services, you will play a critical role in serving the needs of our government customers across multiple domains. Your expertise will be instrumental in applying AI to real-world problems, driving tangible impact, and improving public sector outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Own end-to-end project delivery, from structuring project plans to managing product development, ensuring maximum value is delivered to customers.
  • Customer Collaboration: Work closely with customers and technical teams to design innovative solutions that address business problems across various disciplines and sectors.
  • Product Management: Collaborate with product designers and engineers to develop solutions that seamlessly integrate into customer workflows, supporting their business needs.
Relationship Building
  • Customer Relationships: Develop and maintain strong customer relationships as the primary point of contact during projects, ensuring projects meet objectives and run smoothly.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and contribute to the preparation and delivery of new business pitches and proposals to secure new or expand existing work in the public sector.
Thought Leadership
  • Business Development: Take a proactive role in developing good processes and practices that drive the growth of the Government team and help Faculty deliver on its objectives.
  • Research and Development: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research in various fields relevant to our work, staying at the forefront of AI innovation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in professional services, ideally from a consulting, technology, or data background, particularly within a public sector context and preferably in AI.
  • Delivery Excellence: Demonstrate delivery excellence, taking responsibility for ensuring successful project delivery and developing high-quality written deliverables and reports.
  • Technical Expertise: Be exposed to working with technical teams and delivering technical projects, ideally in AI.
  • Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate persuasively about the value of AI and data in solving problems, and think creatively about applying these solutions to customer needs.
  • Passion for AI: Demonstrate a passion for AI and its safe, human-led application to drive real-world impact.
