We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Development Manager to join our team at Jewson Partnership Solutions, part of STARK Building Materials UK. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for delivering and implementing our growth plan, ensuring customer solutions and support are aligned with our customers' visions, strategies, and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Public Sector clients, including Housing Associations, Local Authorities, and their contractors.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and leverage business opportunities, driving sales and margin growth.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in Public Sector solutions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to provide innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Public Sector sales, with a strong understanding of its influencing factors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers at all levels.
- Degree or business-related qualification, preferably with a focus on sales, marketing, or business development.
- Results-oriented with highly developed financial and commercial acumen, able to analyze data and drive business growth.
- Proven track record of sales and margin growth, with a strong ability to turn analysis into profit.
