Job Description

Job Title: Head of Building Performance

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Building Performance to join our team at Ballymore. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate financial control, management, and external corporate reporting across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Deliver monthly management accounts within 10 days of each month end, including variance analysis and commentary on significant differences to budget, and forecasting to year end.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, including balance sheet, cashflow statement, aged debtors summary, aged creditors summary, accruals and prepayments summaries.
  • Financial Analysis: Establish and produce a weekly cashflow dashboard, highlighting issues as required and prompting corrective actions.
  • Financial Administration: Ensure management fee invoices, and all other invoices are raised as required by BAML, BMSL and any other legal entity on a timely basis.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure bank covenant compliance is performed as required, and VAT returns are prepared on a monthly/quarterly basis, and submitted to group with relevant information provided to the freeholder.
  • Financial Leadership: Lead on the annual statutory audit process, delivering audit requests on a timely basis, and assist the executive management team on the appraisal of existing and potential new income streams by undertaking financial reviews.

Requirements:

  • Education: Ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent), with a high level of computer literacy (Advanced MS Excel skills, preferably to Macro level).
  • Experience: A high level of attention to detail and accuracy is required, with the demonstrable ability to communicate effectively and prioritise work to meet agreed schedules and deadlines.
  • Qualifications: Membership of ACA, ACCA or equivalent body.
