We are in search of a Head of Financial Operations to support the organization in achieving its ambitious growth and development objectives.


This innovative company, backed by a network of angel investors, is poised for substantial expansion both in the UK and internationally over the coming years.


As part of its growth strategy, the organization is looking for a highly driven individual to initially assist and eventually succeed a Fractional CFO, playing a pivotal role within the management team.


Reporting directly to the Founders, the Head of Financial Operations will be deeply involved in all financial decisions, aiming to enhance operational efficiency and performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establishing a structured approach for the next phase of growth while improving profit margins through strategic financial and operational oversight.
  • Providing strategic insights to support the leadership team in all aspects of business planning and proposing new strategies to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Ensuring that operations are aligned with the overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Preparing weekly performance dashboards, monthly management accounts, and quarterly board presentations.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

The successful candidate will be a motivated and commercially astute professional, holding a relevant qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and possessing experience within the food and beverage industry. This role is particularly suited for someone eager to transition into their first Head of Financial Operations position.

With a hands-on approach, you will thrive in a small, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, demonstrating the ability to engage with details while maintaining a strategic perspective.

You will act as a proactive business partner, showcasing effective influencing skills and a proven history of delivering value. Your diplomatic nature and high emotional intelligence will enable you to challenge constructively and pursue continuous improvement.


Additional Information:

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, with the expectation of monthly travel to central London for team engagements.
