We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Digital Experience Designer to become a vital part of our Next eCommerce team. If you excel at crafting user-focused designs and possess a strong sense of visual appeal, we would love to connect with you.

In this position, you will integrate user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to develop intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing digital solutions for our partner brands. Your responsibilities will include understanding user requirements, designing seamless interactions, and creating stunning interfaces that captivate users and facilitate effortless navigation.

Key Responsibilities

Research and Insights

Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability assessments Develop user personas, journey maps, and empathy maps Analyze user behavior, data, and industry trends Utilize these insights to uncover opportunities for innovation Perform regular site evaluations to identify bugs, accessibility challenges, and optimization prospects

UX Design

Recognize user pain points and devise solutions to address them Generate user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes Conduct usability assessments and refine designs based on user feedback Collaborate with product teams to outline project requirements Partner closely with content strategists to establish effective information architecture

UI Design

Craft visually compelling experiences that adhere to brand guidelines Design intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile platforms Develop and maintain UI component libraries and design systems Ensure design consistency across various platforms and devices Create and document interaction designs

Collaboration and Communication

Work in tandem with developers to guarantee design feasibility and precise implementation Present design concepts and research findings to stakeholders Engage in design critiques and offer constructive feedback to team members

Continuous Improvement

Stay informed about the latest UX/UI design trends, tools, and best practices Contribute to the enhancement of design processes and methodologies Mentor less-experienced designers and support their professional development

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in both UX and UI design, ideally in eCommerce or retail Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Webflow, Miro) Familiarity with prototyping tools Knowledge of user research methodologies and data analysis Understanding of web standards, responsive design, and accessibility guidelines (WCAG) Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Excellent communication and presentation abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Capability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively
