As an Ecommerce Product Specialist, you will collaborate with the UX team, taking charge of A/B testing, optimization, and personalization initiatives while working in tandem with both technical and business teams.

We seek an individual capable of transforming concepts into actionable tests on the website, demonstrating their effectiveness through data-driven insights. Strong analytical abilities are essential to support your proposals.

A substantial background as a Product Owner in an Ecommerce setting is required, with a preference for candidates possessing retail experience.

This role offers a hybrid working model, allowing for a combination of office and remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining a connection to a vibrant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements through effective engagement with stakeholders, utilizing workshops and other suitable methods for requirements gathering.
  • Collaborate with IT solution architects and development leads to create an IT Solution Design that aligns with strategic objectives while fulfilling business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ascertain business needs and translate them into detailed requirements, considering potential project risks and dependencies.
  • Facilitate key Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, representing your project and driving development teams towards progress.
  • Work closely with a team of Product Owners, Developers, and QA professionals daily, ensuring project timelines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Partner with data teams to ensure that all optimization and personalization tests are grounded in robust data analysis.
  • Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding their projects, managing expectations and timelines, including necessary pushbacks.
  • Prioritize projects based on business needs, keeping all stakeholders informed throughout the process.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a Junior Product Owner or Product Manager role.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with diverse groups across all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, thriving in a fast-paced retail environment with shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing platforms such as Monetate, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, or Content Square is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with project management and Agile tools like TFS, Rally, or Asana is beneficial but not essential.
  • A basic understanding of front-end development is preferred, as collaboration with Developers will be necessary to create innovative web features.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles to enhance business performance.
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence relevant stakeholders, simplifying complex topics into clear summaries.
  • High levels of intellectual curiosity, determination, organization, and persuasive skills.
  • A self-starter who excels in an entrepreneurial culture, demonstrating proactivity and a willingness to contribute as a team player.
