Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Front of House team at the King's Hall and Winter Garden in Ilkley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our patrons, ensuring a safe and secure environment, and contributing to the overall success of our venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to patrons, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Monitor audience behavior to ensure the safety and security of all patrons, and take appropriate action when necessary.
  • Maximize sales of concessions and merchandise, including accurate handling, till use, and basic stock control.
  • Check tickets quickly and accurately for date, time, venue, show, level, and seat number.
  • Be responsible for public safety and provide information on upcoming shows and events.
  • Participate in enhanced cleaning of Front of House areas, pre, during, and post-performance, in accordance with Covid-19 guidelines and venue hygiene standards.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and update personal training as required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
