About the Role

Aimee Willow Connex is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Executive to join our Direct Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating new business opportunities, progressing inbound enquiries to the end sales stage, and exhausting all in-house sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert sales opportunities provided through lead generation and marketing platforms into revenue-generating deals.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through data analysis and CRM utilization.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients to offer tailored solutions and exceptional customer service.
  • Meet and exceed productivity and revenue targets set by the company.
  • Stay up-to-date with customer requirements and preferences to deliver a client-centric service.
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and industry standards, including FCA Conduct rules and Core Responsibilities.
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, ensuring accurate administration and fair treatment of customers.
  • Develop and present client quotes and proposals, following company finance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive, constructive attitude.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the line manager.
  • Engage with clients primarily through telephone contact.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and proactively, with a high degree of self-motivation and drive.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to achieving the highest standards of sales performance.
  • Effective negotiation and influencing skills to secure deals.
  • Previous experience in a high-performing sales environment, with a minimum of 12-24 months required.
  • Background in a financial services industry, such as insurance, lending, or business-to-business, would be advantageous.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong computer literacy and technical skills.
