The Role

This position reports to the Commercial Director and is part of a dynamic team. You will be responsible for managing our retail partnerships across both traditional and online platforms to elevate our brand visibility.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Brand Development Expanding existing partnerships and identifying new retail opportunities. Securing support for cross-category promotions during key trading periods. Maximizing brand exposure through collaborative marketing efforts. Monitoring brand performance and pinpointing growth opportunities. Managing the retail budget effectively. Retail Engagement Developing tailored pitch materials for retail partners. Staying informed about current product offerings from our licensees. Providing creative solutions to enhance product offerings. Collaborating with the creative team to present cross-category initiatives. Retail Communication Acting as the primary liaison for retail partners. Delivering timely updates on brand licensing initiatives. Preparing relevant reports and presentations for internal stakeholders. Ensuring alignment with sales teams regarding retail initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience

While experience in the children's sector is beneficial, we prioritize candidates with proven retail management experience in a licensing context. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

In-depth knowledge of the retail and licensing landscape, including key partners and buyers. Strong communication skills with a track record of successfully pitching to retail buyers. Comprehensive understanding of retail operations and the UK market.

Exceptional organizational and planning abilities are essential, along with a history of effective collaboration with retailers.
