About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Business Development to join our team at Sphere Digital Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and establishing new business opportunities with retailers and consumer brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy to acquire new retailers and brands for our advisory services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives at retailers and consumer brands.
  • Collaborate with our investment startups to establish opportunities for their products to be sold into our corporate clients.
  • Explore new markets and sectors beyond our core retail and consumer base.
  • Partner with our central strategy team to secure and deliver key pitches and projects.
  • Engage prospective clients with clear, compelling messaging.

Requirements:

  • Minimum six years of experience in selling tech and consulting products.
  • Strong track record in complex sales.
  • Experience in tech-led solutions for the consumer and retail sectors.
  • Existing network of retailers and/or consumer brands.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and upsell products effectively.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong time management and initiative.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining senior-level relationships.
  • A lateral thinker with a passion for identifying insights that drive innovation.
