Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee various operational aspects, including financial oversight, business growth, strategic planning, and team leadership.
- Ensure the delivery of effective and safe services, maximizing operational efficiency while adhering to budgetary constraints and company standards.
- Prioritize the safety and well-being of all employees and stakeholders affected by our operations.
- Continuously assess and enhance operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth.
- Provide transparent and accurate reporting on business performance while driving operational efficiencies through digital tools, asset utilization, and cost management.
- Act as the designated Transport Manager 2, responsible for fleet management.
- Develop and manage the site budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation and the use of efficient disposal and recycling methods.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze reports, and identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
- Identify and pursue potential business opportunities, crafting strategic plans and initiatives to expand our customer base.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- Level 3 Leadership & Management or equivalent professional experience
Desirable:
- CPC qualification
- Level 5 Leadership & Management/Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong knowledge of waste management regulations, environmental sustainability, and waste disposal practices.
