We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our operations team as a Logistics Coordinator. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient allocation of bookings, optimizing the productivity of our driver network, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement booking allocation strategies to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Process bookings from various channels, from initial inquiry to completion, ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers and drivers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and drivers, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Identify and troubleshoot booking issues, taking proactive steps to resolve them and prevent future occurrences.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and drivers to optimize operations and improve the overall running of the business.
  • Represent Green Tomato Cars in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-volume, London-based private hire or taxi operator (or comparable industry experience).
  • Proven ability to coordinate and control busy day-shift or night-shift operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence in dealing with all stakeholders within the business' operational sphere.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills, with experience of Echo operating system a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
