**The Role of the **First Team Kit Assistant**
- We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to serve as a Kit Assistant. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless preparation of training kits, managing stock, and providing logístical support by driving to home and away games.

**Main Accountabilities**

**Logistical Support and Travel Management**:

- Drive to home and away games, ensuring timely transportation of kits and equipment.
- Responsible for loading and unloading kits and equipment, maintaining their safety and integrity during transportation.
- Coordinate travel logistics, including packing and ensuring the readiness of kits and equipment for home and away fixtures.
- **Inventory Tracking and Management**:

- Maintain meticulous records of kit inventory, noting any missing items and taking prompt action to rectify shortages.
- Regularly conduct inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accurate stock levels at all times.
- Collaborate with kit manager to order replacements and maintain stock levels.
- **Training Kit Preparation for 1st Team Players and Staff**:

- Prepare match kit for players and staff with a least two days prior to game.
- Ensure the daily readiness and availability of training kits for 1st team players and staff, meeting their specific requirements.
- Organise and lay out training kits, ensuring they are clean, properly labelled, and in excellent condition for each training session.
- **Equipment Maintenance and Up-keep**:

- Work alongside Equipment personnel to ensure the cleaning, maintenance, and organisation of all football equipment, including balls, cones, and other training aids.
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs or coordinate with appropriate personnel for equipment maintenance or replacements.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Work closely with coaching and support staff to understand their kit and equipment needs, ensuring all requirements are met.
- Communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders regarding stock levels, any issues, and requisitions for new equipment or kit supplies.

**Regulatory Compliance**:

- Ensure any contact and interaction with players complies with the Club’s Safeguarding Policy and that any concerns are shared with the Safeguarding Team through appropriate channels
- Ensure adherence to Premier League/ Football League regulations and club standards concerning kit presentation, cleanliness, and equipment quality.
- Implement and maintain best practices for handling and storing football kits and equipment in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Any other duties deemed necessary in discussion with your line manager.

**General Club Accountabilities**
- To ensure compliance with all relevant Club policies, including health and safety policies and with specific reference to all data regulations
- To ensure compliance with all Club and regulatory requirements related to safeguarding, and to ensure the Club’s safeguarding processes are followed in the event of any safeguarding concerns
- To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements
- To build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally, always maintaining a professional image when representing Brentford FC
- To ensure compliance with all player welfare processes
- To ensure compliance with the Club’s Staff Code of Conduct
- To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel
- To always maintain a flexible approach to work

**Person Specification - Essential Characteristics**
- Previous experience in a similar role within professional sports or a high-performance environment is highly preferred.
- Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure, especially during match schedule
