About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Senior Chefs: Collaborate with our senior chefs to prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every meal.
  • Maintain Kitchen Standards: Support the team in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Culinary Innovation: Contribute to the creation of new and exciting menu ideas, staying up-to-date with industry trends and culinary techniques to continuously improve the dining experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the catering team to deliver exceptional service and support for special events, themed dinners, and other culinary projects.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge, ensuring you remain at the forefront of culinary excellence.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Proven experience in a catering environment, such as contract catering, a hotel, or commercial kitchen, with a strong understanding of food preparation and health and safety standards.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with all departments to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved.
  • Continuous Learning: A commitment to ongoing learning and development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the dining experience.
