Position Overview: The Sales Recruitment Network is on the lookout for a skilled Technical Sales Manager / Surveyor with a background in Industrial Doors or Steelwork. This role involves managing client interactions and overseeing projects from initial inquiry to final execution.

Role Title: Sales Manager / Surveyor - Industrial Doors / Steelwork

Compensation Package: Competitive salary based on experience, along with performance-related bonuses, vehicle allowance, pension scheme, and additional executive benefits.

Location: Primarily focused in the South West region, ideally situated within a specified area.

Company Background: Established in 1966, our client is a prominent independent company specializing in the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of Industrial Doors and Shutters.

This organization boasts a diverse clientele across multiple sectors, including government, transportation, retail, and aviation, along with a robust network of branches throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct site surveys and prepare cost estimates for projects.
  • Oversee projects from conception through to completion.

Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate will possess experience in the industrial door sector, with a strong foundation in technical sales, estimating, site surveying, and contract management. A background in electrical and mechanical systems is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in IT is also required.
