Locum Consultant Physician and Geriatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Physician and Geriatrician to join our team in Older People Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for managing a proportion of patients independently, contributing to the discharge planning process, and working collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a proportion of patients independently on the 52-bedded acute geriatrics ward at Royal London Hospital.
- Play an active role in the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the discharge planning process.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide high-quality patient care and support the development of service improvements.
- Full registration with the General Medical Council with the license to practice.
- Established career and training pathway within the NHS.
- Relevant CCT in Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine or equivalent.
- Higher Research Degree and Higher teaching degree.
